The Challenge.

We were keen from the beginning to help OceanSaver make the move from start up to household name. Our goals were to drive traffic to the product page and increase sales on Amazon.co.uk by optimising their product titles, listings and brand content.

Ultimately we were challenged to educate people who landed on OceanSaver’s product pages in order to increase sales, boosting their Amazon SEO in the process.

The Solution.

How did we respond?

Despite some great content and visibility on Amazon, our expertise immediately recognised room for improvement which would be key in optimising performance.

As a result our work across OceanSaver’s entire portfolio of ASINs would focus on several key workstreams:

  • Optimised product titles – implementing the inclusion and extension of good keyword spread.
  • Optimised product bullets – dramatically increasing the information about specific products; why to buy and how to use them. Key for easy shopper education-led conversion
  • A+ content – the creation of how-to use graphics and brand blurb to give consumers context about this eco-friendly product. All helping to set it apart from competitors as well as showing other products in the range, to promote multiple purchases and increase order value.
  • Optimised product description – The addition of expansive detail such as keywords, how to use, benefits etc.
  • A coherent and combined approach through a rapid roadmap of changes would prove to have a dramatic effect on Amazon conversion rates

The Results.

OceanSaver have gone on to enjoy significant sales growth across Amazon, with investment into Amazon Marketing Services providing sustainable return to fund further incremental revenue.

Our work has also since gone on to achieve industry recognition; Highly Commended within the Best Socially Responsible Initiative category by The Drum.
